“I have lived in Chicago, IL since 2001. Illinois is emblematic of much of midwest America though contrasted with the larger cultural city center of Chicago. From rural to suburban to urban the climate of the state shifts based upon proximity to major roadways. Illinois has a large impact on my work as it represents a diverse example of life in the US.”
