“I am a 29-year-old emerging artist residing in Providence, RI where I am currently working towards my BFA in photography at the Rhode Island School for Design. Prior to attending RISD, I received two Associates Degrees, with Honors, from Greenfield Community College in Greenfield, MA where I concentrated in Liberal and Media Arts. Inspired by the camera lens, I believe that the camera is a powerful instrument for me to communicate the things I feel passionate about. In my work, I explores exposing subjects that I may otherwise have a hard time articulating. Whether it be as complex as gender roles or as simple as the color of a building, I believe my work speaks with a unique voice utilizing the power of both ambiguous and literal imagery.”
“I was born in Greenfield MA, and moved to Rhode Island last summer to attend the Rhode Island School of Design. I love all of the small shops and resturants in the various neighborhoods on the east side and west side of Providence. I have especially enjoyed it’s close proximity to surrounding cities such as Boston and New York City.”
